3-5-2010	Crowning of our Rose Queen and Princess Every year we crown a Rose Queen and Princess and prepare them for their trip to the Rose Queen Tea in Portland where they are honored for their lifetime accomplishments and participate in a pageant for the award of queen of queens (selected by the Royal Rosarians).  We are honored to have former Mrs. Oregon Debra Gilmore here to crown our Queen.
4-18-2010	New Chapters Event /  Illabelle Oden's Trip To the Grand Canyon Illabelle Oden was our Rose Queen in 2009 and her wish was to see the Grand Canyon.  The trip is tentatively scheduled during her birthday weekend.   She will stay in Flagstaff and visit the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
4-21-2010	Rose Queen Tea This year's Rose Queen and Princess will travel to the Oregon Golf Club for the annual Rose Queen Tea.  Each participant will be honored and the Royal Rosarians have the difficult task of selecting the individual who will be crowned the queen of queens.
7-2-2010	Independence Day Celebration Every year the residents, staff and community members join for a celebration of our independence.  We will have live music, games for kids, a car show, great food and a 30 minute fireworks display.  Please come and join in our fun.
8-6-2010	Relay For Life Residents and staff join together to walk for 24 straight hours around the track at Thurston High School in Springfield.   Those who have been affected by cancer are honored and money is raised to help the cause to find a cure.
